3 Simple Wedge Hacks to Help You Avoid This Shocking Mistake

Newsletter #108: Use These Simple Wedge Techniques To Avoid This Shocking Scratch Golfer Mistake

We all have a picture of a scratch golfer in our minds, but the reality is often not quite as impressive as you may think.

Some Surprising Scratch Golfer Stats:

  • They average roughly 10 greens in regulation per round. They miss nearly half the greens they are aiming for!

  • A scratch golfer will take 4 or more shots to get the ball in the hole from 110-119 yards in the fairway 24% of the time!

  • They average 2.2 birdies per round. They make their scores by avoiding big numbers through penalty shot avoidance etc, rather than firing in loads of birdies.

I’m sorry to say you probably miss the green more often than you think as well!

Check out the video below and the three simple wedge techniques that will help you improve your accuracy with shorter shots like this, hit more greens and lower your scores…

How often do you miss the green entirely when you are hitting your approach from 100 yards out in the fairway?

We all know the feeling; you’ve hit a great drive and are sitting pretty in the middle of the fairway, just 100 yards from the green. Birdie chance right?

Well, not necessarily!

When you consider how many greens scratch players are missing (shocking stat in the video above) from that distance, it becomes clear that we could all do with improving our accuracy from 100 yards or so.

I hope you enjoyed this issue and it helps your game!
