The Missing Backswing Link Most Golfers Forget...

Newsletter #130: How To Build a Proper Backswing Episode 3 (3-Part Series):

Welcome to part three of building your backswing around better turns and tilts.

If you’ve jumped in here first, go back and watch parts one and two — they matter. Today we’re pulling everything together and showing you how to actually blend it into a swing that works.

Because having the pieces is one thing…getting them to work together is another…

Quick recap:

By now you should have…

  • A setup that allows proper tilt and turn ✔️

  • A feel that helps you rotate while keeping your tilts ✔️

  • A sense of whether you respond better to “up” or “down” movement feels ✔️

That’s the foundation.

Now we add the last piece most golfers forget…

Your arms still have to play along…

Even when players improve turn and tilt, I still see them:

  • Collapse the trail arm ❌

  • Pull the club in close ❌

  • Shorten the swing arc ❌

So they never actually get the benefit of the bigger turn they’ve built. They just throw it all away.

Needless to say, that’s where distance disappears, and where consistency drops off a cliff.

We need you to stretch out, not scrunch. I’'ll explain everything via the video above…
