Here's something I don't think enough golfers ever pay attention to: The same club can produce two completely different golf shots.

Obviously we can all hit all manner of shots, but I’m talking about same swing, but the only thing that's changed is whether the ball is sitting on a tee or on the ground.

Most golfers assume their fairway wood (or hybrid) should behave exactly the same in both situations.

In reality, they often don't.

Let me explain…

Next time you're playing, ask yourself:

✔ Does this club fly differently from a tee than it does from the fairway?

✔ Does one tend to draw more?

✔ Does one naturally fade?

✔ Does one carry a little further?

✔ Which version gives me the best chance on this SPECIFIC hole?

Understanding your own tendencies is just as valuable as improving your golf swing.
