This Is THE KEY to Consistent Ball Striking...

Newsletter #135: The Strike Series Episode 2 (3-Part Series) - How To Control Low Point…

Welcome back to part two of the Strike Series - How To Improve Your Ball Striking.

If this is your first week as part of the Newsletter Crew, go back and watch last week’s episode (WATCH HERE) where we worked on ball then turf strikes.

This week, we’re taking it a step further…

We’re going to tackle arguably the most important part of consistent ball striking: low point control.

What low point actually means:

Last week was about where you strike the ground.

This week is about how high or low the club is when you strike the ball.

And this is something good players control all the time.

Remember, not every shot is the same…

Sometimes you want:

  • A shallow, clean strike ✔️

  • Sometimes you need to really hit down on the ball ✔️

  • Sometimes you want to almost pick it off the surface ✔️

All of those skills are managed by low point control. Let me explain…

Why this matters…

Low point control is a skill, not just a fix.

You’re no longer just trying to “hit it clean / pure”, you’re learning to control how you hit it.

✔ Clean when you need it
✔ Steep when you need it
✔ Adaptable to different lies

That’s what good players do.

Something close to my heart…

What I would consider my home club (where I grew up learning the game of golf) is in the process of raising funds for a cancer charity that is close to my heart, and that of some of the members who helped me on my way in the world of golf.

If there is anything you can contribute to the cause, no matter how big or small, please use the QR code below.

No pressure, no expectations, just some charitable outreach on my part if this is something you can get behind…

I hope you enjoyed this issue and it helps your game!

Please reply to this email with requests for future topics you would like me to cover.

Have a great Easter weekend!
