I went through a phase where striking my chips and pitches was a real struggle, and this simple move helped me massively.

It could do the same for your short game too…

Have you ever heard the phrase “double-chip”?

It’s pretty self-explanatory, you’ve got what you would consider a chip / pitch shot (for argument’s sake let’s say shots from 40 yards and in from the pin) and you miss the green, often duffing the shot and not making the distance, or skulling it over the back.

Sound familiar? I thought so…

To put it simply, you are not even in the game if your short game ball striking isn’t at the point where you can rely on it to, at the very least, ensure you hit the green.
